GTA can destroy your ps3!!!

Today I've read in the newspaper:

1 on 3 GTA games has a programming error which can break your ps3. Well I have this problem, the game gets stuck on loading a mission and then my ps3 restarts automatically. If you have this problem, do not run GTA anymore since it can destroy your ps3. If it did, you can send your ps3 to sony for free repair (This is the case in Belgium) but you have to pay the post for delivering it..

Watch out with this guys, I know some people who have the problem. You can take GTA back for this. There is a trick to keep playing it (unplugging your internet when you play it) but the programming error still remains(not sure about this though).

If you have the problem my fellow EoP members, return the game and whatever you do don't run it until rockstar comes out with an answer.

This is no joke! Terrorshot had the same problem.

Well im frightened now xD but there are not all that are destroying ur Ps3. If i have GTA, and if i notice anything, ill return it and get a new one.

Newspapers have probably overreacted.. I've checked it on the internet and it only affects the game itself. Although it's not completely sure. Me and Terrorshot had more problems with ps3 restarting even when we were playing call of duty.

Still be careful and wait for a patch or something.

Ye the problem can come, I was on mission 39 before it happened, so a couple of days playin' without probs.

GTA freezes, mostly when loading the mission.

Anyway, I'm running a backup of the game on my 360 and I never got any probs

Probs are only known to cause probs on the ps3 ami.

That was just a funny way to say "Dude, it's such a shame to have problems like that on a ps3"

What about the red rings of death the xbox has? The problem is caused by rockstar, not by sony.

No HD disc? i mean the hard disc drive.

20Gigabytes? yea well its oke, but also, the x360 is not installed on such high graphics, only the discs are.


Well, still, i dont like microsoft coz of theyr fukin 360, coz they always get things first.
